If you are traveling to Whidbey Island by air there are two available airports, SeaTac, and Paine Field.
SeaTac is the major airport in the region, and you should be able to find a variety of airlines that fly into this airport. If you do choose to arrive through SeaTac there is a shuttle service that you can use to get to Whidbey Island, see below for additional information. Depending on traffic it can take 1.5 to 3 hours to get from SeaTac to Whidbey Island.
Paine Field is a small airport that currently has Alaska Airlines flying in and out. It is limited in the locations and times but worth checking out. If you do choose to arrive through Paine Field there is a shuttle service that you can use to get to Whidbey Island, see below for additional information. Paine Field is only 10 minutes from the ferry that will take you to Whidbey Island.
The Whidbey/SeaTac shuttle is a great way to get from either airport to the Island. You will need to go online to make and pay for reservations. I recommend that you select the Langley/Clinton stop (Ken’s Corner) and let Danette know once you have your reservations and arrival time so she can arrange pick up. The Shuttle stop is approximately 5 minutes from the Langley Retreat.
